One of our most popular items is this polished inner primary cover with the hole for the mid shift control lever as OEM. It features a 9-hole pattern for the outer cover to bolt to.
If your outer cover only has 8 holes the 9th simply isn't used. Made to fit FX models it has the shifter shaft hole. The reinforced webbing casted in makes this inner primary very strong. The outer surface is polished. Factory sample cover are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs. *NOTE: Does not include any hardware. Requires gaskets mount screws bearings and seals for installation.
